Morning – This is the 2nd in my Walnut Navy Series. I call this piece The Chase. Each ship is done in a Walnut shell. The decking is basswood, sails are Maple, masts are Oak and the “ocean waves” is out of Cottonwood bark I harvested myself. Just to tease you, my next project will be a Pirate Cove with many ships at anchor. I hope you enjoy.
Thank you

That is pretty cool. I really like how you did the sails.

This is awesome! Like the bark and the sails and how wonderful you put them together into a work of art.

I love this work and your creative thinking as well.
My only thought is “Who is getting chased?”
Maybe the ship out front should be a merchantman…??

Not a criticism, just a thought.

What a fun piece.
