I made this corner cupboard for my daughter when she bought a house with very few kitchen cabinets. The carcass and shelves are pine 3/4” plywood. The face and doors are red oak. No stain applied. Finished with 7 coats of poly satin.

This is a gorgeous cabinet. It is well built and I like the design of the piece as well.
You did a nice job on the finish.
Thanks for the post.

Beautiful Cupboard!
Did you make the molding at the top?
I really like the center drawer.

The molding on the top is stock crown molding with a bull nosed 3/4” red oak board to cap it off.

Nice work.
I’m out of my Shop (Garage) during the winter months, So I bring my Scroll Saw in and work on it in the house, it’s not too much of a Dust kicker, so this allows me to be comfortable in the house with minimal dust.
Then once the winter is over, I take it back out to the Shop. Once winter is over, I’m heading out to the shop and building a Mobile Scroll Saw Desk that way it will make it easier to push around and I can roll it into the house and out to the shop.

Very, very nice. I wish my walls were vertical instead of slanted (Gambrel barn-shaped place). This is exactly what I’d like to try.

Bureaucrat, did you work from a pattern for your corner cabinet or design it yourself? Down the line, when I get my kitchen cabinets finished, I may be interesting in a corner cabinet or two.
