Figured out my Jointer and Planer. Yay! Built and painted the body a few weeks ago and the TV has been sitting on a piece of plywood. The outside doors hinge out and the middle is a barrister hinge. It’s a little wide for the space but that is what is needed to fit all the electronics in it. Basic pocket hole joinery and I like it. The green color reminds me of my great grandmothers furniture in the farm house. I have to say that the hardest part was building the doors. Mullions are difficult to build and then recess the wood to fit glass took a bunch of cuts before getting the correct depth.

Very appealing design and I way cool how you sized the legs to fit the space. “Where there’s a will, there’s a way!”

I can’t let you get away with it. Nice design, obviously love the walnut top, but you do need some practice on door sizing and fitting.
Coincidentally, what his name? the choperoo guy has a nice video on door sizing and fitting, do a search and look at it, I think it would help.

Colin,
Nice work, I like the wood and paint combination.
Jorge G.; maybe with this cabinet so close to the fireplace, the ventilation spacing around the doors is going to keep the electronics from over heating and burning up. They might be a good thing.
