Here a small beveled box using Tiger Maple and Cocobolo with a Shellac finish, these small piece were just cluttering up the old work bench so I put them to good use. I recently sold my uni-saw planning to up grade to what I just don’t know yet so I used my Festool circular saw and panel glided to miter the 45 and my band saw to bevel the sides and lid. This little box came out as good if not better than my old routine on the table saw. I do miss the spline accent but I really like the clean look of the Tiger Maple sides…thanks for viewing…Blkcherry

Nice BC. Very well done.
Heck, you are so good at this stuff that you could probably do it with a finger-nail file.

Hey, Al, Beautiful wood combo…..the maple and cocobolo play well together. The finish looks spectacular on this baby, and the sculpting shows it off.

Very nice Wilson. That cocobolo has such a rich color to it. I miss the splines too but it’s still a beautiful box.

Very nice box, well done. That cocobolo is particularly rich. I wish I had some of that “cluttering up” my work bench”.

Another beautiful box from your shop. That wood combo is just perfect together. You finish appears flawless. Is the shellac sprayed, brushed, or padded? Rubbed out after it cured? I need details!

I to would compliment you on the finish, an oft neglected stage that makes or break a piece of wood.
