Two of my GS’s were spending the day with us. My wife had bought a kit truck for one of them and a name paint set for the other. We spent a better part of the evening werking on these projects. I let the GS with me which was older basically put his truck together. I had to help identify pieces but he did the assy. My wife helped the other with the painting. A good time was had by all.

Great family project; can’t beat time with the family and good to see young ones in a shop and not on a computer! Thanks for posting and looking forward to their next project.

Great project and way to spend quality time with the family. A wonderful family tradition that will be treasured and remembered by the grand kids as they grow then passed on to the next generations to come.

Thanks for the comments.
It is was a pleasure for both my wife & I to have this time. The younger one with the towel shirt calls himself my shop cleaner. When he comes he gets the shop vac and cleans up the sawdust everywhere the hose will reach.
