This is the library stand I build for my wife, she wanted something to store cookbook and another drawer to put things like pens and tape and scissors. I was completed constructed of white oak and plywood for the shelves. For the finish i try using the GF water based stain which proved to be difficult to work with when compared to using their “dye stains” which i found to be much more user friendly, then topped with semi gloss arm r seal. The plans called for rabbit joints for the drawer but i think people always look for the dovetails

I like that the cookbook is open at a height and angle where it can be easily read. Nice looking stand!
