My brother and his wife just had a baby girl and I thought this would be the perfect time to try out the lathe I got for xmas. The A is for their daughter and the K is for my ten month old boy (he loves it!). The letters are woodburned on. They are both about 6’’ long made out of poplar with pine caps. I drill a 1’’ round hole 1’’ deep and glued a pine cap on then turned them. Finish is butcher block / salad bowl finish. So these should be safe to chew on.
Thanks, Ken.
