Another cut off saved. Yesterday I started cleaning up my shop and found several short cutoffs to short to use but to long to throw away. Today I chucked it and as I was sharpening my tools I would try them out on the cutoff. When I finished my sharpening I started to werk on the cutoff. This is what turned out of it. I have started using just about anything I can find to turn utilizing a lot of small pieces I used to throw away.
This cup is made from hickory. It is 2” w x 5” h finished with Capt Eddie’s OB shine juice. It has several worm holes in it. I am thinking tomorrow I will add some wax and see how it turns out.
