Table for Mom

Project by mzmac posted 548 days ago 648 views 8 times favorited 16 comments Add to Favorites Watch

I made this out of Maple and Elm?. The maple came from the drop offs of a kitchen doors project. The Elm? was the first tree that I used my bandsaw to resaw. I build this table for fun and my Mother took one look at it and seized it for herself.

This is a nice piece. And making it from “scrap” and self-milled wood adds a wonderful element to the construction.

Well done.

The top is outstanding and well complimented by those legs. Is this your design or from a plan?

I can see why your mother confiscated it. Nice job. Thank you for sharing it.

”Mother took one look at it and seized it for herself” – and here I though that you just made it for her. LOL.
Very nice work and I love the design – I can appreciate what she saw in it.
