Television cabinet

This is a cherry television cabinet I was commisioned by a friend to build. The faceframe, doors and top were made of cherry hardwood while the sides and shelves are cherry verneer plywood. I dont do my own finish work. I am fortunate enough to live close to an Amish fellow whose professon is finishing. He does beautiful work for very reasonable prices. Besides my shop though pretty well equiped is small and I have no room to have a clean area to do a quality finishing job. This piece was sprayed with a clear varnish.

That is a great looking cabinet. The guy who did the finish did a great job also. I wish I had someone close to me that could do it for me.

Very nice cabinet. You did a beautiful job on it. I don’t know where in Illinois you live but where do you get your plywood from. Thanks for posting.

God Bless

Jack,

This is a beautiful cabinet and the finish looks good as well. I like the design of the piece. This would be a compliment to any room’s decor.

Well done.

the figure in the plywood veneer really makes this piece stand out…great job on designing it and your finisher deserves recognition as well : ) Sweet piece of furniture
