Like most people, I’m chronically short on storage space, and that includes in the bathroom. Rather than build a vanity, which would have been a rather involved project, I decided to just add a shelf with a hanger for the hand towel.

I like the shelf supports, except for the part where one of them ended up not being a perfect quarter-circle so I had to shim it to get the shelf to lie flat. The supports slot into dovetail grooves in their backers; the backers have screws securing them to the walls also in those grooves. Net result is that the only visible screws in the project are where the shelf is secured to the supports.

Made of red oak, finished with Minwax tung oil finish.

Good idea to hide the screws, and looks great too.
