Today’s project was an Espresso Tamper – The foot is Walnut, but I’m not sure what the rest is. The wood came in a large sack and was unmarked. I was told it was Zebra wood, but I’m not sure. A nice little project for a saturday evening which I’ll get to use on Sunday morning.

That looks nice but I’m curious why you use a tamper with your moka pot?

I’ve got an assortment of tampers for my espresso machine but never tamp when I’m using a moka pot…

Very Nice, It makes me wish I had a lathe. I badly need one for my espresso machine, but $25 in the store for made in China, it’s a no no for me. .. You make me jealous :) Lucky you
