This was my first attempt at doing Turquoise inlay and it was quite a learning process. Started out trying epoxy and it was way to thick and took for ever to cure. After searching many articles on the internet and read blogs from other LJ members on their inlay process I finally figured out CA glue is the way to go. I brought the walnut from a local supplier and they sell it as rustic Walnut. Having knots, checks and even some worm activity the wood is perfect for doing small amounts of inlay. I am always looking for comments and suggestions so please feel free to leave your ideas. Thanks Doug

Looks great, but more pictures would be nice—particularly of your interesting splines. What are the other woods and the size?
