Here is the personalized boxes I made for friends and family. I think it ended up being about 16 boxes & of course I got a late start and then on December 21st I got another distraction (see last picture) of course it was a GREAT distraction!!! my first GRAND BABY!! so needless to say .. I did at least have some help from nephew so they would be done on time BUT we still ended up working till 2 AM ON Christmas morning installing hinges & such to get them done… I DO NOT see how the real SANTA could do it LOL . THE wood is just cheap “furring strips” from the local box store and some Cherry stain with min-wax poly. So now I’ll have to make my grand baby a special one with her name on it as well “Jesselynn”

Jesselyn, Papa Columbus loves you !!

Nice work Santa, but mostly congratulations on the new granddaughter. You’ll relly like being a grandpa, it’s a lot of fun.
How did you apply those names on the boxes?, surly you don’t have that many branding irons..

Man, you were busy this Christmas. I bet they all liked them. Congratulations on the new and first grandbaby.

I have already figured out its’ great to have a grand-baby. they are lots of fun but DANG makes you feel old LOL.
thanks everyone for you compliments although the boxes didn’t turn out as good as I wanted they did turn out nice. Oldtool- to answer your question I actually cheat some.. I print the names off from the internet then take tracing paper and trace it on the box then just burn it with my cheap burner. I am thinking about trying to make a branding irons to “sign” my work but haven’t had time yet
Normg- of course he puts them in his reindeer stalls (for this Santa it’s actually a chicken house LOL )

Have your say...
