Made this box with left over pieces of bird’s eye maple, walnut, mahogany and ebony. Finished it with a few coats of danish oil and some hand rubbing. Used blood wood to show off some spline work -:)Hope you folks like it.

Hi Steve,Just added a couple of more pictures for you. The hinge is simply a tiny nail embedded on each side and cut off. It works fine.
