Patina and Maple

This is a copper metal leaf with mixed colors on plain maple. The color is a dye ala Member ‘Trifern’’. The vessel is actually 2 pieces with the seam hidden under the ridge around the middle. Thanks for looking…......;-J

Elegant vessel – great idea to make in two pieces – lovely patina – colors reminiscent of raku pottery.

I have seen david marks do that and have been wanting to try that process…leafing looks fun…good job
