We used to catch them by the hundreds in and Sebasticook River in Maine.

WOW! Amazing. The finish is superbly realistic.

There’s a wooden model of the ancient coelacanth at the zoo in Toronto and it’s amazing how similar these two fish are. Love your carvings.

Really love your work, amazingly realistic art pieces. Can’t wait to go fishing.

I live two miles from the Sebasticook and fish there when ever I can. Not as many fish there now since they removed the Winslow dam. Still good fishing above the Benton dam though. Great carving! Looks good enough to eat. Thanks for posting.

Unquestionably beautiful work, but I got to admit I’m partial to your brown trout.

This one is just a life-like as the brown trout. You are a gifted artisan!

Thanks for the great comments, I did not know they removed the Winslow dam, I have not fished it in many years, i used to fish Waverly Avenue in Pittsfield above the dam of course this was in the early 60s, the river was pre-well polluted in those days.
