Made from cut off’s from cutting boards, Maple and Black Walnut it was frustrating to make. 6” x 1 3/8” Diameter. The last pic shows the original intended stone turned bowl but things got ugly…
Made a lid for it, hopping to make it more like a chess piece maybe…

jR this was made using mostly the lathe with the holes being done on a floor model drill press the tricky holes were boring the stem and the angular hole in the bowl and getting things to line up and fit right had to make a special jam chuck it was a pain to make but I never seen one like this have you?..I will find a home for it… It was inspired by my project from yesterday, weed pot the idea came from joe and others talking about weed….I just turn stuff I don’t do such things…anymore…lol

Thanks all you guys…It was an interesting project one I learnd from for sure…making things line up was crazy…like the checker board pattern between the stem and bowl the lines are pretty close….thinking a top for the bowl and a stand maybe…

So UNLIKE “weed” and “bowl”....

This ”weed” and “pipe” Do go together… Eh?

Neat little pipe. Not that I would have ever had a use for it! LOL

You know what they say “you made your pipe now you have to smoke it” or did that have something to do with a bed ? :))

Hobbit Weed right?

You do understand that the black walnut makes it kinda toxic to use effectively.

Otherwise it is pretty darn sharp. I actually like the shape of the cap for perhaps a “Bishop” piece perhaps.
