Ebonized Stave Vessel

This my third stave vessel. My sons favorite color is black, so I decided when I made this vessel it would have to be black. I made the vessel out of walnut, then ebonized it. This is also my first attempt at ebonizing. I think it turned out pretty cool….so does my son.
There is nothing fancy, just a basic design and solid black color. Just as it is, it is an attractive piece displayed in his room.
Thanks for viewing.
