Traditional Hall Table

Recently, I was asked to build a small hall table. This is the result. The budget was limited so I used Alder and toned it heavily to match other nearby tables.

There were a couple learning experiences in this project. First, I created custom cutters for my shaper for this project. Second, I turned the fairly large columns on a fairly small lathe. There’s now a larger 18×47 lathe in my shop. :-)
