We live next to some of the best neighbours. Here is a portrait I just completed of a fantastic set of neighbours. Doing this for them as a surprise.

That’s wonderful. It must take a lot of patience to do that.

helluvawreck – Patience I think is key, but it’s not difficult. Just so much cutting.
Roger – Thanks Kindly.

So good to see your work! I can see the joy and pride you take in it, and in your family!
It has been so cold here I have been unable to do anything in the shop at all except freeze. It is good to see some work being done in these winter months! Keep it up!

Thanks so much or your post. Scrolling is quite fun. The idea behind the family portraits is to create artwork for the wall going up our stair case. Though we are moved into our new house 4 years, the decor is not where it should be, these should help.
If you are freezing in you workshop in California, you can only imagine the cold here :) Having Cathy agree with Matthew to allow his scroll saw in his bed room has been keeping our sanity level in check. Matthew is working on a portrait as well. We will be posting his under his blog once he’s finished.
Thanks again for commenting. Always good to hear from you.
