This is my first attempt at a picture frame. I think it turned out pretty well. My wife asked me to make her a picture frame for one of our wedding photos so this is what i did. First I made a miter jig for my tablesaw, and turns out it works pretty well. The miters came out pretty tight. After getting it together I painted and antiqued it with some 220 sandpaper. First attempt.

Nicely Done!
Did you make the corner clips for the frame strap?
How did the miter sled work for you? were the mitres evenly matched?

You can make picture frames for me anytime. I don’t care to much to make them. I only make them if I have to. Sounds like your miter sled worked nicely.
Have your say...
