desk is from woodsmith magazine. it is made of poplar. i finished it with shellac.

First thing I thought was a Cherry desk, then to find out it is poplar with a shellac finish…. Well Done…...

Thats a great looking desk. I didnt know that shellac could make poplar look so good. Is there any stain on it or just amber shellac?

Brad, what a great desk. Can you point me towards rhe plans you used? Also what are the basic dims? Loads?
