3" Wide Shelf

My wife has a craft room and in that room are boxes filled with stamps and punches that she uses to make cards and such.

She told me that she always has to dig in the boxes to try and find a certain stamp or punch and that she needs something better to organize.

I mentioned that she has lots of room to store these things behind the door… “Look at all that wasted space”, I said, “You’ve got a whole 3 inches that you can use”.

So I went to my tiny basement shop and made her a 3” wide shelf, mounted it to the wall behind the door and let her stock it.

This is the result.

Let me know what you think.

I think it was a good idea….keeping the wife happy that is. The shelf was a great idea. Good way to make use of previously wasted space. Nice job Paul

Nice job! My wife needs one of those for her travel souvenirs and I know just the place for it. Thanks for the idea, Paul.
