Had a request from a fellow builder to make him a few parts for his cigar box guitar that he was making. So i made him a 3 piece set out of Rosewood which included a 4 string tailpiece, carved jackplate and a rod piezo bridge with bone ends. Then i thought might as well make up a few more sets for future customers. One was out of Purpleheart and one out of Paduak, the paduak one i made a bone bridge with paduak stripes. Always wanted to try a bone base bridge and it came out awesome. Then i made a deluxe set out of Ironwood Burl and bone which includes a rod piezo bridge, one of my half n half bone slides, 3 string tailpiece, jackplate, 2 picks and 2 guitar nuts all in a nice presention cigar box.

That Ironwood burl is over the top. The CBG that wears that set will be well dressed…

You create some nice pieces. Is bone hard to carve?
