It works great and fits in my hand perfect the last pic was after doing some serious beating on the Froe there is a knot right in the sweet spot…the handle did not turn out as hoped or planned but after four attempts the other three were to nice to use this one is sure ugly enough but fits me perfect…big and ugly like me

Function still more important than beauty when it’s a tool.

Good job

-- Nature created it, I just assemble it.

you are right jeff
it looks just like you

so long as it does the job
it is well worth it

and you have three nice ones
for when you want to dress up

If you choose a good piece of wood tie a rope around it and split the log in a checker board fashion you can have a whole bundle of kindling or turning blanks ready for action…fear the froe

With that mallet and the froe there probably won’t be a safe log in the neighborhood now!

It’s not ugly at all. It goes right along with your thumb nail picture! I love it!
