this is my 3rd cigar box guitar. did this one with diatonic (do re mi etc) fretting like a dulcimer. 22” scale with maple and mahogany laminated neck, 1/4 sawn african mahogany fretboard and a macanudo cigar box. came up with a simple tail piece just using screws. i havent seen anyone else do it like this which seems odd. piezo rod under the brass rod on the bridge. also used a zero fret and string guide instead of a nut and it worked gret

Nice c.b.g. Mike I haven’t seen anyone use the screws for a tail piece either I usually use hinges of some sort’ but I like your idea of just using screws, good job.

Hi Mike, Looks great, and I expect that it sounds as good as it looks. Does the neck continue all the way through to the exterior of the cigar box, or did you stop in at the inner surface of the box? Nicely done.

That is a sweet job buddy. Excellent piece and great wood selection!
