Here is a silverware box I made from pallet wood. I’m am not to sure what the wood is on the outsides (would love it if someone could tell me) the middle is cedar from a bench that I recently refinished. The inside cedar came from the leftover wainscoting in my bathroom. The top is a mix of red oaks and poplar? wood. The quarter rounds I hand fashioned with my plane and a scraper out of that wood that i cant tell you the name of. Pretty pallet wood the little wife called it. The finish is Danish oil and min wax paste finishing wax. I am going to put some sort of felt on the bottom.

When the wood is free it makes the project that much better. Good job! It looks great!
