It’s been over a year since I posted my last project. Funny how having a baby does that to you. Anyway, trying to get back out in the garage and make some sawdust. Here is a walnut bandsaw box I made for my wife’s birthday.

Wood is walnut with curly maple handles and the finish is this antique oil wipe on crap I had in the garage from who knows when. I think it turned out pretty good.

Magnificent band saw box, with the 4 layers of the beautifully curved drawers.

Great job! I keep telling myself that it’s time I made some more bandsaw boxes. Now you’re inspired me to head into the shop and actually do it.

very beautiful box. What size blade do you use to cut the curves?
