Ben, very nice work, does the centerpiece Slide to hold books tight?

Yes it does, at some point I need to redo it, when i screwed the cleat in on the bottom I didn’t have the center piece completely flat to the top of the shelf and its slanted right, it still operates how it should and holds the books up.
