I made this cheese board for my god-daughter and new husbnd. It is made from strips of walnut, oak, maple and cherry, with the bottom made out of cherry. The top sticks to the bottom with magnets. The idea came from similar, but smaller versions I saw in Napa, CA. Routing out the bottom was a bit of a challenge to get the material out with out burn marks and to hollow out the grooves for each implement.
