Very nice.
Good choice of contrasting woods. It sure is great to pick out the wood for a project and then see that you made the right choice when it is all said and done.

that is a beautiful table. bloodwood and maple go great together so great choice there but because the bloodwood bleeds it can be hard to finish with a lighter wood like maple so great job on the finish too! thanks for the post.

A grand success on your first multi wood project. What is the width of the red wood strip in the center of the table? The table looks pretty.

This is a nice design for a coffee table. I like the striking contrast between the two woods as well. You chose a good combination of woods to work with.
Very nicely done.
Thanks for the post.

Hi,
Thanks for all the comments. The center stripe was really just drop-off but when I saw how clean and straight it was, I ran it through my planner. It is about .25”
