Been making a few of these things….you ever see the price tag on the Swedish Caving Mallets they are plain as turnings go but not in cost….is there any carvers that need a mallet I am here for you…don’t stare to close at the front of the mallet in pic one, can you tell what was on my mind?

Looks great. I turned one very similar to this and I’ve had it for about 13 years. I use it mainly with my carving chisels and sometimes my bench chisels for light work.

Looks very nice ,I prefer carving mallets to hammers on all my chisels.
