I made this using black ash for the top and pine for the legs and frame. I bought the record vise 20 years ago and finally had time to build a bench.

I’ve been sitting on a vice for 2 years now without a bench to put it on. 20 years for you…...wow…...you’ve inspired me to start on my bench or I may be in the same boat sooner than I think.
