This is my entry for the Wooden Wear-ables contest. It is what I have started to call a Lanyard Pen as I have a sold a few and my daughter has given one to her teacher for that purpose. They are great to where on a lanyard or necklace as the pen just unscrews from the cap.
This one is made with Holly that I cut and dried myself. You can see that it has some of the grey streaking in it which can be quite common in Holly when it dries. In this case I used it to my advantage and let it help accent the wood.
