This is a Shillelagh style walking stick with a Sassafrass knob handle and natural Birch shank. I finished the top with a wipe on sealer and the shank was finished with walnut stain, black spray enamel and spray enamel clear coat. The Sassafrass is from a log I found in a junk yard about 18 years ago. I made a simple collar out of some great old steel that I recycled and fitted the tip with a brass ferrule.

Thanks for looking!
