We created a pair of Hope Chests for family members as Christmas gifts. They are the same size 18” wide 18” tall 36” long. We made one with horizontal boards and one with vertical boards. They both are made with reclaimed barn wood and lined with Cedar. A simple Danish oil finish was used to keep a natural and rustic look and feel.

Good, solid looking builds. I like the wood you chose.
