Antique Kitchen Cupboard Restored

Still setting up my wood shop so i took this on while waiting

My wife & I picked this up in a little antique barn outside of town
The gentleman said it was a 1940’s Kitchen Cupboard
It had the old hardware and the rails inside for the plates so we purchased it for $200

I stripped it down completely, soaked the hardware in vinegar overnight and stripped them down and reassembled them, and gave it a coat of homemade chalk paint and distressed it a bit then waxed it

It retains it’s shabby chic or antique look and fits in great

To the left I refurbished the 100 yr old+ exterior church window casing and mounted my wife’s hand made porcelain tiles in it for an art piece – it hangs with a 3 pc french cleat

This is totally cute. It can be used in any room of the house. You have great taste to pick it.
