this is my first scrolled portrait.i made this for my father-in-law of his boxer who passed a few days before Christmas.i cut it out of baltic birch ply and made the frame out of african mahogany.

Hi Jeff,
Very nice scrollwork of woman’s best friend too.
Do you use a computer program to get this pattern? Did you use a photo of Buster? Just wondering if you use a common Windows program for it.

Dee one of the guys on scroll saw forums I’m on turned a picture of my father in laws dog into a pattern.he used a program called gimp its free i just haven’t figured it out yet.and thanks for all the compliments everyone.also here is the link to scroll saw website http://www.scrollsawer.com/
