This is a rocking chair I made for a buddy who bought his first house. It turned out ok, kinda clunky. I think its the back rest that makes me feel all weird about it. It rocks just fine and it smooth, my router slots are to far back and need to be centered better. Thoughts?

First of welcome to Lumberjocks this is a Great web site.
The chairs are really nice. I see what you mean on the rocker. I think the top on the back is the problem for me. If it was rounded it would make it more pleasing to the eye. I like the cut-outs in the bottom nice touch.
The 2nd chair is nice it seems to have a hint of G & G to it.
Well Done.

Thanks for the feedback. I will try a rounded top next time.
