Was sitting around crusing LJ’s and planning my day this morning. Been working on a storage cabinet and was sorta stuck on how I wanted to build a door for the saw till. It was then that I saw a storage cabinet posted by Skippy906 and ding….the light came on and I had an eureka moment. Could build a really simple door that could double as a storage rack for my wood lathe chisels as well. Its sorta funny that I thought of the chisels since I never use the wood lathe but far be it from me to question inspiration. Thanks Skippy

Thank you Patron…. they were eating up a bunch of space in my tool box. My brother gave me the lathe and chisels. Learned some time ago to never ever look a gift horse in the mouth….so someday I am gonna mount that sucker on a bench and you can give me pointers on using it….deal??? I already know if I push the little green button it goes round and round….I think it does anyhow!!!

Thanks Jeff…. Got one more day to finish this dad gum thing up before I have to go back to work. Hate the 12hr swing shift but this seven day break once a month sure is sweet…. getting close though, facings/pulls for saw blade storage trays and a sandpaper organizer…

Ok Pete….to address your comment….
1) yeah right!!! LOL All you would see would be saw dust, smoke and Barney the shop dog running for his life.
2) Its trick photography…drop the camera angle a couple of feet and you would be wondering when the family of hobo’s moved out….lol
Thanks for the kind words though…Have a great day and stay safe

Great chisel storage idea!

I’m going to add something similar to the inside of one of my cabinet doors this weekend.

Thanks for the tip!

Nice little job on the storage, having tools on hand makes the cfart much more enjoyable. And, not only will they be close at hand but preserved and protected from bouncing around in a tool box.

Well done
