Basically with this project, I took materials including Mahogany, Cherry, Walnut, and Maple. The Mahogany was two strips of 2 inch material, the Cherry was about 1.5, the Walnut was .5 inches, and the Maple about 2.5 inches.
It started with putting them all in a certain order and gluing them together side-to-side. Then the process began of cutting the glued together strips into uniform widths and alternating them to from the pattern I wanted.
