Definitely not fine woodworking but an idea that might be of interest to some. The bins are accessable for sorting material right at the doorway. A very inexpensive household organiser, and if like me you happen to have attic access at the top it makes for a stable ladder as well!
Made of chipboard and 2×4’s. There are dadoed in cross-members at the rear that are bolted to the studs.
