Thought I would see what an old piece of maple on my wife’s fireplace pile would look like when I turned it. What came out was amazing. Who would think an ugly piece of firewood could look like this. Size is about 4 ” high and 6” in diameter. -- Don, Saginaw Mi

Your bowl looks great, the wood figure is super. I’ve used some spalted maple for a bowl and boxes as well.
