Well, this was a great project. This is an octagon poker table that I built for a customer. It is all solid red oak with mahogony crotch veneer on the side panels. All in all, it was one of those projects that you don’t want to send out the door, or that you had built two of them! Enjoy the pics, and let me know what you think!

I could see why you wanted to keep it. It’s fantastic!

This is a great project. I can well understand why you were reluctant to let this one go.
Well done!!

Mortise, that is soooo great! Beautiful job. The mahogany on the side panels really adds character to it too.
Thanks for posting it.

Fantastic poker table. The wood selection and the details are great.

Very nice project, turned out great!
There was a set of plans in Wood magazine for a poker table that I would love the make one day, maybe i’ll have to give it a shot.

Very nice, I have the same project in mind, but I have to finish a toy box and a entertainment center first. Do you think you have any pictures with a little more light so we can see the playing surface better?
