I appreciate your ingenuity. Looks like a rough spot to build in. I’d sure hate to come home and find my tablesaw in the drink. Good luck.

You sure will have one of the best views of any workshop!
I hope you are planning on putting in a big window so you can enjoy it.

Your shop will have a beautiful view. I am not sure I could get any work done in there. The view alone would be sufficient distraction to pull me off task.
Keep us posted on your progress.

Nice location. I would probably spend more time fishing than WW that close to the water though.

About how big will your shop be? It must be nice to be able to harvest what you’ll be building your shop out of.

you are certainly going to be giving Dick Cain a run for his money on “best view from a workshop”!

Did you design it so you can fish out the back door? When the fish aren’t biting, you can always get back to work! I’m leaning toward envy, so I had better quit looking. Unfortunately, zoning and DNR here require huge setbacks off any waterfront.
I’m looking forward to seeing your progress. Meantime, I’ll try to deal with my covetousness.

What a beautiful view you are going to have. I agree with the other guys, that you need some windows in your shop. Looking forward to seeing the finished building. Thanks for posting.
God Bless

I would put a door in it so I could park my boat inside and when I got tired of ww I’d head out for open water and see whats hitting. But thats me. mike

Just another reason I shouldn’t be visiting LumberJocks.com. This makes my garage feel completely inadequate.
Good luck getting any woodworking done.

I think you need more windows! Woodworking on the water what a great concept. Start off with a kayak for the grand opening project.
