Thank you all, Teak is quite easy to work with, it is soft, but strong (in the middle class..), the hinges are the most complicate part.. (I though that it is easy, but..) I try to control the smoothness in lid opening.. not too loose, or not too tight….em..not easy.. (including wood expansion in humid environment…). If the dowel rod inside the hinge is too big, the hinge can break easily.. (this time I use 10 mm dowel with 17 mm Teak)..
