Last 2 weekends I have been able to take some needed time to just work in the woodshop. Here are a few of the things that came of of that time. Pens lots of pens, 5 Civil War pens, Purple Heart, John Deere Colorwood, Exotic Narra wood, Camo Colorwood, Red, White, and Blue Colorwood. 2 of these are sold, as well as the two bolt action pens, the first one is with Camo Colorwood, this is the 3 one for the same guy in the last month, and a Birdseye Maple on the second. I don’t usually sell many pens, but this last year and this month have been my best, might have to take a stronger look at them…..
I made 5 of these rolling pin displays, these are the only 2 left. Brown Colorwood with painted handles, always a crown pleaser (if they are women)!
2 bird house ornaments, a pink colorwood one with painted top and bottom with a choke cherry burl lid, and a yellow and black top acron.
A first one for me a orange and green colorwood ring holder with a Narra topper (left over from the pen above)
A finger grip Billy Club with a behive end, and orange accents painted on.
Pens were all finished with CA glue, every thing else with sprayed on conversion varnish. Thanks for looking!
-Mike
