My First End Grain Cutting Board

This was my first end grain cutting board I made using cherry and maple. It was a wedding gift for my cousin. I followed the plans and video from The Wood Whisperer. I used Generals salad bowl finished thinned down and wiped on three coats. The hardest part I think is sanding the inner corners of the insets for your fingers.

The board looks good, I would be proud to give that as a gift.

Take it easy on those rocks, who knows what lurks just below the surface !!
