Maple, walnut and purpleheart. This was her first turning project and did pretty darn good. Downside is now I have to spend money on better turning tools for her. If that’s a downside.

Well done, congrats to her. Sharing time in the shop with your boss is fun. Blondie just told me she wants to start learing to make signs with the router. I’m like cool I’ll go buy the templates.

Great color combo and the shaping is well done. It looks like you will be sharing the shop permanently. That can really test a relationship but make it stronger too. Enjoy your time together!
